This photo was taken creekside a couple of weeks ago. The little building is the water pump house which is situated about a mile from the farm. It provides a wonderful water supply. There are cattle in the mid right hand side.
You can tell that we've had a very dry summer by how brown the grass looks. Much rain in the spring, dry through the summer and now much rain again making it difficult to complete harvest. Such is the life of farmers.

I didn't realize that you lived on farm...it looks beautiful and the sky is so vast. I can hardly see the sky around my home for all the giant cedars that hover around! There are so many different and varied kinds of "beautiful" in the world and your farm is one of them!
Thanks Kate. Actually we live in a tiny city about 1 1/2 hours from the farm. My brother and folks are on the farm. We go as often as we can to help as it's a bit much for my brother. We rent and own some of the land.
Beautiful! It is nice to know about how your family sticks together to help each other out. Sure makes any work less of a strain. But none the less hard work and I am sure all walk away at the end of the day feeling satisfied. Thank you for sharing the photo with us! :) Loves ya!
