Where, oh where will we find peace? My prayers are for peace, especially now. My heart feels it is breaking for the 27th Canadian soldier killed in Afghanistan since 2002. This young soldier was my cousin. He was the son of my cousin Patty, who is the same age as I. He was the first-born.
Another civilian died as a result of the suicide car bomb and in the aftermath yet another child was killed.
Mundo uno – one world, one future, for the children.
Where, oh where will we find peace?

So sorry to hear about your cousin! My prayers are with you and their families and for all our troups. I hate war! so much hate in the world..and so many senseless killings! My prayer is also for world peace and happiness...always has been...it takes so much energy to hate...and so easy to just love one another...I don't get it! God cannot be happy about this! Just look at what is happening around the world...global warming, war, hurricanes/ flooding etc etc...I would say that God is angry! His one wish for us and goal is for us all to get along and be happy! Now how hard is that! I know there is much more involved...but I mean really!
Hugs and love to you!

Amen. My love to you & yours, Wendy. How come when we all seem to want Peace so badly, that the fighting goes on...? One of life's big mysteries...
xXx
Wendy, I am so sorry to hear the tragic news which must be devastating for all of you. This deployment of our troops seems so senseless, particularly when almost every day now more families across the country are grieving.
I'm thinking about you and hoping your close family ties will sustain you through this terrible time.
Best wishes, Hazel.
My darling, my heart goes out to you, you are all in my prayers. Love Judy x
Thanks to all for your kind comments.
I will try to do more posts to share some of the flood of feelings.
Wendy, so sorry to hear about this. Please know that prayers and thoughts are with you and your loved ones. Terri
