O harvest of my lands!
O boundless summer growths!
From the poem "A Carol of Harvest" by Walt Whitman.
My entry for this week's picture words. In Saskatchewan, at this time of year there are crops in numerous stages. Some are still green. Most are golden. Some have been swathed as in this photo and some have already been combined. It is truly a time of "boundless summer growths!"

Beautiful photo. I remember driving through Saskatchwan as a child and being in awe of the huge, vast sky.

You must get gorgeous sunsets.

...and then there's also the impressive thunder storms.

Ah yes, the thunderstorms. One has just passed through.
But the sunsets certainly are fabulous.

Beautiful! Fall...Harvest time! My favorite time of year! Makes me miss Tennessee....so beautiful there too...we had lived nearby what they call mountains...which are hills to hubby and I(us being from the Northwest)...but none the less...gorgeous in the fall...the hill is covered in many types of trees and many beautiful colours of the leaves as they change...miss watching the horses nearby too. Never been to Canada...maybe one day! :)

Love the colours in your photo, Wendy ~ it looks like a beautiful place... on a much bigger scale than little old England!
