recreating our house while remembering that home is in my heart:
You can see photos from our house which show some of the empty spaces there. I've also shared some of the things which have brought me comfort and the feeling of home while being displaced from our house. The painter has been working diligently. I believe that all of the items which had been at the dry cleaners will be arriving tomorrow or the next day. the painting is complete in the living room and hallway so many of the boxes from those areas will also be returning. it is hard to believe that it has been nearly a month since the fire. I've done very little creating in that time yet I have mostly been able to laugh. Of course there have been moments of total frustration but I cannot allow myself to be pulled down.
Some day I will return to the more artistic creating. I will be able to move away from the home creating.
Until then - may angels be with you,
Wendy
The more tranquil we become, the greater our success, our influence, our power for good. Calmness of mind is one of the beautiful jewels of wisdom.

Wendy, when everything is up in the air, it is impossible to create. Even God has the farmer rest the patches of soil for a season. Once your home is back to the way you want it to be, there will be plenty of time to create. Meanwhile your ETSY shop is filled to the brim with your creativity. Have a good day. Blessings, Karen
My computer was down so it only now that I have heard of this terrible trauma. So sorry. Glad to know you are all safe, and plowing through to new beginnings. Blessings Windy.
Dear Wendy,
from your previous post I learnt that it has all been more distressing than I thought. But you're so right to laugh a little bit about it all anyway. Yes, REFUSE to be pulled down!!
And thanks for taking some time to leave your sweet comments in my blog in spite of everything. You make my day
Love
Elena
