studio remake

While I was feeling quite enthused about getting back to my sewing machine after all of the fabric purchases I had made last week:

some new and some old fabric

faux fur

fabric for bags

fabric for some kind of quilting or piecing

I decided that I must get to work on the studio remake of my small upstairs space:

how the floor was

The above is how the floor looked until about 7:30 pm yesterday. I have wanted to do more of our floors to look like this one

wood floor effect painted

which a friend of mine had done in Kat's bedroom a few years ago.

I want to paint the walls as well, into some warm and bright colours, maybe put some unique effects there. I want more about the room to be appealing than this inspiration board

and atop the filing cabinet.

I love how you have repurposed dresser drawers to hold your fabrics. Lovely photos here, I think the angel winked at me.

So glad you're investing time in yourself and your art! Our art spaces are so important for helping us to be creative.
