Lessons of Life:
This week I have been working mainly on altering two composition books for a challenge offered online from Cloth, Paper Scissors magazine. I have had a terrific time with this challenge - getting to use much loved layering techniques. I also love to embellish. I tried to get a balanced effect with feathers, buttons, torn fabric, and charms. I am showing just a couple of photos with steps.
Here's the final version.
I also started a blue book. It is not finished. I will share that as soon as I am able. I'll explain a bit more with that book about the steps involved.
Angels be with you.

OH I LOVE THIS! Graet job windy! happy Saturday!
Thanks for the visit Darcy. I hope you had a happy Saturday too. I'll be popping by for a visit soon.
Wendy, this is gorgeous!!! Do you know what? Cloth Paper Scissors is about 30 minutes from my house. I go there all the time to browse through their 1000 books on collage and fiber art. Quilting Art is also part of their publishing company. This is so beautiful. Please tell me which issue, I'll be looking. Karen
Karen, you are so fortunate. I am envious (:
I am really thinking I may not have submitted it on time. It was actually for an online challenge. I receive the e-newsletters which you can receive if you google them and sign up. They showed one of the entries yesterday. I'll let you know if I hear anything further.
Wendy
