I have chosen this image for the theme of BOLD at Inspire me Thursday. Rightly you should wonder at the relationship between laughter and boldness. Let me relate a story
Once upon a time there was a young lady named Adah ~ so much around her she saw darkness, sadness. The darkness and sadness seemed to consume her though she longed for joy. Louka Hannah was her dear, dear friend, full of mystery, full of grace and love. Etain too was very near ~ always shining, always full of life, creation.
Adah longed for yet more closeness with Louka Hannah and Etain. She longed to step away from the times when she pulled herself into the dark corners of her closet when the sadness seemed to overtake her. With her own creative spirit she edged further and further away from that darkness. She crept slowly toward that place where light and darkness blend.
One day, as her grace was shining through, Adah realized the error of her ways. The tub being drawn for a bath, had waited ~ forgotten. The inundation accosted her eyes. Louka Hannah, Etain and Adah, burst together in laughter.
I want very much to thank Elena (E.B.) for her recognition of my ability to shine. I want to thank the fae child Helenina for her random acts of kindness. I want to thank Mademoiselle Helenina for sharing her writing of Etain, Adah, Louka Hannah and Everdeene (also part of me) through pictures and prose.

thank you so much Wendy for this lovely Rak, it's always touching when people take your words as inspiration
you write so beautifully!
I should come to visit and read you a little more often!
blessed be, you made me smile:)
Now I should think about an idea for Bold, to submit at inspire me thursday, maybe well its too late??
I have so many things to do already today:):)
Have a sweet day! I will add your blog link if it s not already done at my blog
Wonderful story and BE BOLD more often and share more of it!
What a wonderful thing to share.
Beautiful grateful post! And how creative of you to turn Hélène's French Doll Posse fun and deep extravaganza into such beautiful writing. I really enjoyed coming over here, after seeing Hélène's mention of your post ;-)
Thank you all for your comments.
Pattie, I would love to BE BOLD more often and to share more of it, but only as the angels will allow me time.
angels be with you,
Wendy
Thank you so much for that beautiful story and your lovely piece of art!
Wendy - I still haven't posted anything for the BOLD theme because I, too, am usually afraid to be bold. So I haven't been able to think of anything. Although I know it is Thursday again, and a new topic is coming right up, I'm still going to try to do something BOLD today. if I do, I'll post it tonight. Wish me luch! Nina
And the Angels joined Rumi for tea as they joyously enjoyed your exploration of self and beautiful art! Rumi commented,
"Inside you there's an aritst you are discovering...Say 'YES' quickly, if you know, if you've know it from before the beginning of the universe."
Their applause for you is deafening!
Wendy - thanks for visiting my blog and giving me such encouraging words to be bold :o) I worked on it some this afternoon, trying to just let 'er rip (so to speak!) and I did come up with a couple of journal pages that I like . . . . but I don't that i would describe them as bold! I'll try again tomorrow, and eventually I'll let go of whatever is keeping me so tame! :o) that will be interesting! thanks again, nina
Me again, coming now to thank you for your visit and to celebrate the opening of your third eye!!!! Yay!! Enjoy this precious moment, and what will follow :-) There's no looking back ;-)
Wonderful! thanks for sharing and Happy Monday Windy!
Bold! I've never been very bold but I love this post of yours.
