subtle spring

sometimes spring can be very subtle
as it enters our world

sometimes the world seems almost silent when suddenly the leaves burst forth
one sees the robins gathering worms
sitting softly midst the grass
sometimes the first crocuses peek through

the dry hillside without any announcement

sometimes spring can be very subtle
