small delights
"Most of us miss out on life's big prizes. The Pulitzer. The Nobel. Oscars. Tonys. Emmys. But we're all eligible for life's small pleasures. A pat on the back. A kiss behind the ear. A four-pound bass. A full moon. An empty parking space. A crackling fire. A great meal. A glorious sunset. Hot soup. Cold beer. Don't fret about copping life's grand awards. Enjoy its tiny delights. There are plenty for all of us."

I have been trying to observe the beauty, the small delights. Though I experienced yet another fall about two weeks ago, I am feeling a shift - a shift in my thinking. I am enjoying more, some of the things I need to do. The thinking needs to shift yet more but everyday I am trying to remember to "love life".
Wishing for you many small delights and of course that angels be with you.

A beautiful photo and wonderful words to live by. I hope you did not suffer much after your fall.
Take care,
Tess
P.S. I love that Helen Keller quote too.
Really lovely post and picture. Thank you!
This is such a gorgeous photo! Your precious kitty cat, and that pretty little rainbow effect up on top. But the very best is that it's a giant field full of wishes!
I hope you're unhurt and feeling well (a fall? a literal fall?). I've been having some recurring "emotional falls", myself. And I, too, just keep trying to remind myself to take joy in all the little blessings and treasures of every day life. And they really do overflow when you start looking for them.
Sending lots of good thoughts your way! Serena
Thanks for the lovely comments. About the fall - I think I had fractured some ribs. It was a couple of weeks ago and I am doing much better now.
Angels be with you,
Wendy
Hope your doing okay. Here here to the little things and trying to keep an attitude of gratitude adn Love Life! Hugs Windy!
