I love you so much. I always think of sunshine and soft buttery smoothness when I envision you. Lemony brightness and creamy yellow custard enter my thoughts.
My dear, dear friend yellow ~
I love you so much.
I was inspired by my dear friend Susan Tuttle for this post. Thank you Susan.
April 12. And the saying goes "April showers bring May flowers". Saskatchewan though - a beautiful rough land, where the winds blow the dry grass
and leave the tiny little shoots of plants to struggle and push their way through. Where the winds blow warm and dry one day
yet very cool with snow the next. Where the winds blow dust into your nostrils at one moment and sweet scented grass the next.
Saskatchewan though - a beautiful rough land, where you are looking for colour one moment then spinning
in amazement at the clouds,
the sunsets,
the chirrruping birds the next.
Saskatchewan though - a beautiful, rough land where my spirit grows, where I thrive midst the winds and the contrasts.
Saskatchewan though - a beautiful rough land which I love.
Sometimes nature touches me and my skin tingles. Sometimes nature touches me and I see angels. Sometimes nature touches me and I feel exhilarated.
last night
Maundy thursday
7:31 p.m.
we walk with haste toward the Church
we are late
but others as well
I feel the shiver
race up my spine
the angels are dancing
in the west
as the dark clouds meet with the sun
setting hesitantly
midst all the excitement
of clouds and sunlight colliding
spring rain cloud kind of dark clouds
the pinkness of the wings is so vibrant
I smile
I wish
to worship outdoors
with the energy of nature
as it touches me
Three nights previous, the thunder clapped two times for me. Again I smiled.
Two years ago, the dove cooed from on our roof. I smiled, knew that all would be well.
