sometimes my dance with autumn

stanza 4

sometimes
my dance with autumn
is about laying down
a bed of dry grass
beneath me

I look up

while the drying flower
weeds
are that goldeny hue

the sadness pervades

the seed heads
meaning
lost to me
in that moment

yet the brilliant blue
the sky
saves me again
brings to me peace
this day

  1. Those words could be my words. I have photographs that match those words exactly!

  2. I'm not surprised Bo. I could sense that. I'd love to see those photos sometime.
